The Lion King Jr.

In this production, tech students from Lincoln Middle School in Santa Monica, CA had the opportunity to work on principal character headdresses from conception all the way through to final detailing. They also painted and assembled props such as the wildebeest shields and hyena spears, designed and sewed the baby lion cub, painted bird puppets, and block printed the grassland skirts.

I illustrated a unique Lion King image for the t-shirt and poster which pays homage to our lion king headdress designs.

This production was heavy on set dressing and props and the tech team from JAMS-SMASH in Santa Monica created an incredible visual feast of oversized candy, all of which looked too good to eat!

Alice in Wonderland

Tech students from Lincoln Middle School got deeply immersed in creating a turn of the century circus themed production of Alice, with sideshow tricks and treats, beautiful eye catching signage, and circus staples like the plinth and wagon.

I designed a unique t-shirt featuring the cheshire cat filled with elements of our circus show, and some fun admission tickets.
